Our Sustainability Initiatives

Sustainability is very important in our sphere since we are the ones who attract tourists to our destination and we should be the ones who spread information on written and unwritten rules. Currently, we are in collaboration with Travelife (https://www.travelife.info/) and is starting our journey on being formally sustainable. We were anyway spreading awareness towards our environment to our customers before arrival, treating our staff members individually by having each week a 20 minutes of meeting, and working with local and sustainable suppliers, however, we decided to make those actions official by being engaged with Travelife. So far, we are in the first steps, however, each day we are closer to our mission with the help of our Sustainability manager.

• For the Planet:

We do not have written Waste, Water, Energy and etc. management policies yet, however, we try to inspire our team members with e-mails, face-to-face meetings to be more efficient in the office in order to help to save the planet. We are plastic free in our office and use re-usable cups instead of single use ones, normal towels instead of paper towels and recycle the papers or double print.

• For the Community:

We understand that we need to take care of the local community and business, so we work mainly with the fully licensed local guides for our customers to experience the real Maltese traditions and history. Our main suppliers are local companies as well such as transport companies, or the equipment we use in the office.

We have created a sustainability tours for our environment friendly customers and we are planning to do it more often in the future and add it in our itineraries separately.
